About Mete & I
Mete and I are longtime lovers, travel enthusiasts, and content creators who believe life is meant to be enjoyed out loud.
We met at Stillman College in August 1995, and more than 25 years of marriage later, we’re still choosing love, laughter, and fun — on purpose. Our YouTube channel is a window into our real life: traveling together, vlogging our adventures, supporting others, and showing what it looks like to still be in love after decades together.
We’re passionate about living unapologetically, enjoying the moment, and reminding people that love doesn’t have an expiration date. Whether we’re on the road or at home, we believe joy should be celebrated, and sometimes that celebration includes a really good cocktail.
That love for connection led us into the world of mixology. We enjoy cocktails and wanted to show people how to relax, unwind, and chill at home with their favorite drinks, while intentionally supporting Black-owned liquor brands. For us, it’s not just about what’s in the glass; it’s about culture, community, and pouring into people the same way they’ve poured into us.
